Welcome to Nelson Car Service, owned and operated by Nelson Gutierrez. By booking a ride or using our website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully.

Services

Nelson Car Service provides personal transportation services in Connecticut and surrounding areas, including airport runs, medical appointments, senior assistance, courier services, vehicle transport, and other rides arranged directly with Nelson.

Booking & Cancellation

Rides may be requested through our website, by phone, by text message, or by email. We will confirm your trip before service is provided. Please notify us as soon as possible if you need to change or cancel a booking.

Payment

Pricing is provided before your trip begins. Payment is due at the time of service unless other arrangements have been made. We do not use surge pricing.

SMS Notifications Program

Program Name: Nelson Car Service SMS Notifications

Program Description: When you book a ride with Nelson Car Service, you may receive SMS messages related to your trip, including booking confirmations, trip reminders, and follow-up messages.

Message Frequency: Typically 2–3 messages per trip.

Message and data rates may apply. Standard carrier rates from your mobile provider apply to all messages sent and received.

Reply HELP for help or contact us at nelsoncarservice@gmail.com.

Reply STOP at any time to opt out of further SMS messages. After replying STOP, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. To resume messages, you can opt back in by contacting us or booking a new ride.

Customers consent to receive SMS messages at the phone number provided during booking. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. SMS service is provided in partnership with Twilio. See our Privacy Policy for information about how we handle your phone number and message content.

Customer Responsibilities

Provide accurate trip details, including pickup and drop-off locations and contact information.
Be ready at the agreed pickup time and location.
Treat the driver and vehicle with respect. Smoking, illegal substances, and unsafe behavior are not permitted.
You are responsible for any damage caused to the vehicle by you or members of your party beyond normal wear and tear.

Limitation of Liability

We take care to provide safe, reliable transportation. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nelson Car Service is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from delays, traffic, weather, mechanical issues, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The “Effective” date at the top of this page indicates when they were last revised. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
